On December 29, 2023, at 14:38, the Narisong Hydrogen Pressure Reduction Station achieved a one-time successful power delivery. At 18:00 on the same day, the Narisong Photovoltaic Boosting Station also accomplished a one-time successful power delivery. This signifies the successful grid connection of the first national-level, ten-thousand-ton scale new energy hydrogen production project—the Narisong Photovoltaic Hydrogen Production Industry Demonstration Project in Zhengge'er Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. The project utilizes the ZHSS-12000/35 24-pulse IGBT hydrogen production rectifier transformer independently developed, designed, and manufactured by CEEG.
Project Overview: The Narisong project is among the first batch of integrated wind and solar hydrogen production demonstration projects in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It stands as the largest ten-thousand-ton scale new energy hydrogen production project in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, and even nationally and globally. The project is a joint venture between China Three Gorges New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd., and Man World Investment Group Co., Ltd. By constructing a photovoltaic power station in a coal backfill area, the project achieves an annual average electricity generation of approximately 740 million kilowatt-hours. Twenty percent of this electricity is directly transmitted to the local grid, while the remaining 80% is used for green hydrogen production.
CEEG has meticulously researched and manufactured the ZHSS-12000/35 24-pulse IGBT hydrogen production rectifier transformer for this project. From the initial design phase, the transformer was closely aligned with the actual usage scenarios and operational conditions of the project. Innovative upgrades were carried out on the existing rectifier transformer technology to ensure precise, refined innovations, enabling the product to meet customer satisfaction in a single delivery and facilitating rapid production. This, in turn, assists customers in realizing the conversion of benefits.
