Operating Conditions for Transformers:
1. The installation site should be kept free from flooding, with an altitude not exceeding 1000 meters and an environmental temperature not exceeding 40°C. The relative humidity is 100%, and the environment ranges from 40°C to -25°C (requires on-load switches and temperature controllers at -25°C).
2. The installation site should be clean, free from conductive dust, and devoid of corrosive gases. Adequate natural or artificial ventilation conditions should exist.
3. When installing the product, it should generally be placed at least 300mm away from walls and other obstructions. There should be a 300mm gap between adjacent transformers. In cases of limited space, these distances can be adjusted accordingly.
Product Packaging and Transportation:
1. The product comes in two types: open-type (without protective covering) and enclosed-type (with protective covering). Typically, it is transported by rail, waterway, or road, with the option for partial disassembly for transportation (items like on-load switches, temperature controllers, air-cooling devices, and protective covers can be packaged separately) or transported as a whole in packaging crates.
2. For products in packaging crates, during hoisting, ropes should be attached to the four corners of the crate's bottom. When lifting products from opened packaging, use dedicated lifting equipment. It is advisable to perform a test lift of 100 mm-150 mm above the ground to check for any abnormalities before proceeding with the formal hoisting.
3. During transportation, avoid routes with slopes exceeding 15°. To ensure even load distribution, position the product's center of gravity along the vertical centerline of the vehicle. Securely fasten the product to the transport vehicle to prevent shifting or overturning, aligning the long axis of the product with the direction of transportation.
Pre-Installation Visual Inspection:
1. Upon opening the packaging, remove protective devices and inspect the external condition. Pay particular attention to the mechanical integrity of coils and iron cores, the tightness of coils and iron cores, and the fastening of bolts at connection points.
2. After inspection, re-tighten all fasteners and coil and iron core compression areas sequentially, ensuring there is no sign of loosening.
3. Use dry compressed air or a clean cloth to remove any dust and dirt from the product's surface.
4. If the transformer has been stored for an extended period and there are water droplets or condensation on the surface,it should undergo drying treatment until the coil's insulation resistance is within acceptable limits.
Pre-Commissioning Checks:
1. Measure the direct current resistance of the high and low-voltage windings (verify if the data matches the values provided in the factory test certificate).
2. Check the grounding of the iron core to ensure reliability and verify that there are no foreign objects bridging the connection.
3. Test the insulation resistance.
Net Connection and Run:
1. Before commissioning, run the transformer under no-load conditions and, after three opening and closing cycles, inspect and adjust the protection system.
2. When leaving the factory, the high-voltage side tapping positions are set to the rated position. During operation, voltage adjustments may be required, which should be performed based on the rated tapping voltage specified on the nameplate (without excitation voltage adjustment) and must be done with the transformer power supply disconnected.
